The Charleston Youth Marathon is an opportunity for children of the Low Country to participant in a free Youth Marathon in partnership with our charity beneficiary, Engaging Creative Minds!

We have opened up our Youth Marathon T-Shirt design contest for 2025!
T-shirt Design Contest Guidelines: All t-shirt designs must be original artwork; PDF files will need to be submitted with school and grade in the email body. The contest is open to all Berkeley County School District (BCSD), Charleston County School District (CCSD) & Dorchester School District Two (DD2) students, & Dorchester School District 4 (DD4).
Email submissions to melissa@engagingcreativeminds.org. Submissions are due no later than December 1st.
Winners Receive: Free race entry for any distance, plus
1st Place: Your artwork featured on the Youth Marathon t-shirts & $100
2nd Place: $50
3rd Place: $25

There are great parking options located within a 15 minute walk from the start line. However, please note that parking spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Recommended parking locations will be communicated closer to race day.
We recommend runners to use ride-sharing apps for their transportation needs. Drop-off and pick-up locations will be announced closer to race day.
