PNC Bank Charleston Youth Marathon

JOIN IN ON THE FAMILY FUN!

The Charleston Youth Marathon is an opportunity for children of the Low Country to participant in a free Youth Marathon in partnership with our charity beneficiary, Engaging Creative Minds!

Participants will receive:

  • A free Youth Marathon T-Shirt
  • A free Youth Marathon bib
  • A free Youth Marathon Finisher Medal

RACE DAY DETAILS

Race: January 31, 2026

Start Time: 10:30am

Location: Brittlebank Park – 185 Lockwood Dr., Charleston, SC 29403

The Youth Marathon is a FREE event allowing kids to start their race at Brittlebank Park and finish at the same finish line as the Half Marathon participants in front of The Joe! 

***Parents and Family: You are more than welcome to walk your child up to the start line. If you plan on accompanying them for the whole lap, please line up at the back of the group. If you are simply chaperoning a child, you do not need to register for the event.

 

Race Details:

Packet Pick Up: 

Youth Marathon participants can pick-up their bib and shirt during regular packet pick-up hours or on race morning:

  • Friday, 1/30 | 9am – 7pm
  • Saturday, 1/31 | 9:30 – 10:15 AM at Customer Service at Brittlebank Park

Parking & Road Closures:

  • Road Closures: You will NOT be able to utilize Lockwood Drive on race day due to road closures. Please be sure to avoid Lockwood on race morning.
  • Parking: Our recommended parking locations are just a short walk to the RiverDogs Stadium. Please see the recommended lots below.

SHOW OFF YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT

The Peyton Moore Spirit Award

The traveling trophy will be awarded to the school with the most Youth Run runners.
A purse of $500 is distributed among the top three schools with the most school participation.
  • 1st place: $300
  • 2nd place: $200
  • 3rd place: $100
